SLO Piercing Turns 5 Years Old Today!

As of today, SLO Piercing is officially five years old.
To celebrate our 5-year anniversary, I’m starting this blog as a way to more consistently document my journey—as both a piercer and a business owner.

They say that nearly 50% of businesses fail within their first five years.
We’ve hit that milestone, and we’re still going strong—with no plans of slowing down.

These last five years have flown by. And honestly, I don’t always stop to acknowledge moments like this. But today, I’m allowing myself to feel proud—not just for staying consistent in one industry, but for surviving and growing in a business climate that’s designed to challenge you every step of the way.

Thank you to the SLO Piercing team, past and present, for helping build something that lasts.
Thank you to our clients, who continue to trust us with their bodies, their stories, and their time.
And a special thank you to anyone who’s ever shared knowledge, mentored me, collaborated with us, or supported us from the sidelines. Every bit of it helped us get here.

We are beyond grateful for the continued support from the SLO County community—and we’re committed to staying rooted in quality, safety, and authenticity for the years to come.
